How long are your contracts?

Unless you sign up for our yearly plan, all hosting plans are month to month. We make it simple to start — and stop — your service at any time.

Can I download my site?

No. What we offer is a hosted web service. To put our product on a shared web host would be to ruin it. Zen Media Studios provides many standard methods for exporting your data should you decide to move.

Is there a discount for yearly service?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount on up-front yearly commitments. There are no refunds on yearly service contracts.

How do I cancel service?

Right next to the button you used to sign up. Canceling service is an instantaneous and no questions asked process. It’s done online right from your Site Manager.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, at any time. When upgrading or downgrading your website plan, you will receive either a partial-month upgrade fee, or a partial-month refund depending on the cost of your new plan.

Do I need another web host?

No. All of our managed plans include our grid hosting service, ensuring your site remains up under any amount of load. You do not need another hosting service with Zen Media Studios. It’s a complete, fully managed package.

Why do you provide so few email accounts with your hosting packages?

We do this because we utilize the Google Apps suite of software, and it’s not free. We have integrated their SaaS model of application delivery into the very core of our product offerings, and because of this we can offer unparalleled performance and uptime guarantees that other companies simply cannot compete with. Can I add more email accounts to my plan?

Yes, you can add additional accounts through your Site Manager.

Why isn’t your hosting free?

Zen Media Studios provides a premium, time saving service and we charge for it. We believe in a direct and honest relationship with our customers. Because we charge for our service and have a stable business model, we don’t need to make decisions later on that would compromise our integrity in order to make money from our users.

Further, every detail of our site manager is meticulously designed and presented. We fix every bug we find, and we respond to every single support request. Our servers have incredible uptime. Your time will be saved. If these things don’t matter to you, then Zen Media Studios is likely not going to be a good choice. After all, no software is really free, because your time isn’t free.

Can I host my site without using your Content Management System?

Yes. As long as your websites requirements do not exceed the Managed Hosting Plans above then you can simply deselect the Content Management System during signup. Doing this, however, will remove all of the “Key Features” listed above.

Why don’t you offer 10,000TB of bandwidth for $2.99?

Because our service is reliable. With a shared web host, they’re able to offer massive amounts of storage and bandwidth because it’s literally impossible for you to use it. Your site would crash on a shared host if you sent that much data from your site. Seriously — go try it.
